The World Placenames add-on for Nasa World Wind 1.3 includes placenames of rivers, hills, mountains, forests, regions and others points of interest for all the countries in the world.

There is also a reduced version that includes data for the following European countries:

Spain Portugal Andorra France Monaco Italy Vatican City San Marino United Kingdom

Ireland Germany Belgium Holland Austria Swiss Luxembourg Malt Denmark

Toponymic information is based on the Geographic Names Data Base, containing official standard names approved by the United States Board on Geographic Names and maintained by the Nationa Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. More information is available at the Maps and Geodata link at www.nga.mil. The Nationa Geospatial-Intelligence Agency name, initials, and seal are protected by 10 United States Code Section §445.

World Placenames add-on can be distributed freely.
