Mars

WW now does mars too, right? We should add that in!

I've added a sentence linking to Worlds. --Nosilleg 07:56, 17 Nov 2005 (GMT)

Speed, GPS Device and Openness

What is with the speed. Google has more money and so more servers.

You can input your GPS-datas with something like that [1] because GE is very open. And you can do things like this (German) in GE which are not possible in WW. 80.185.63.56 18:48, 17 Dec 2005 (GMT)

There are tools for both WW and GE to convert different data into track data. With the GPS add-ons that are listed you can get live reading from a GPS device, so if you have a laptop and a GPS device in your car, you can have WW show you where you are as you're driving. I haven't seen that ability in the free version of GE.
As for wikipedia... We had that first. There are also converters that will change a kmz into WW format, so you could do that with the German kmz data.
As for speed. Where does it appear slow to you?

I dont think he said it appeared slow, I think he was just inferring that because google has money, and thus, more servers, their inherently faster. This line of thinking is ENTIRELY incorrect. I agree with nosilleg on the GPS issues also, as the GPS referred to here, is LIVE gps not GPS tracks. Also, if your going to link to foreign language stuff, please at least explain what is on them, so other people can actually comment? Or perhaps that was the purpose?

Please, try the Wikipedia-Addon with actual 18.553 (de) or 27.894 (en) entities again. Add tell me the result. I mean dynamical kmz-files with Network-links[2] would be a good feature for WW.

An other Question, what do you think about a link-Template from your Hotspots to kvalenberg 80.185.63.5616:04, 18 Dec 2005 (GMT)
